The Detroit Red Wings have added some more veteran experience to their team as they have signed forward Brad May to a one-year deal worth $500,000. The 37-year old May split time between the Anaheim Ducks and Toronto Maple Leafs last season had one goal, six assists and 89 penalty minutes in 58 games. In 1,001 career NHL games split between the Sabres, Canucks, Coyotes, Avalanche, Ducks and Maple Leafs, the Toronto native has 127 goals, 160 assists and 2,182 penalty minutes. He helped the Ducks capture the Stanley Cup in 2007. Source www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=294148
