Winger Nick Tarnasky is believed to have a broken orbital bone and is expected to be out "weeks," Coach Pete DeBoer said. The injury happened during Tarnasky's second-period fight with Ottawa's Chris Neil. Usually, such a injury takes at least three weeks to heal, increasing the chances that one of the youngsters such as Evgeny Dadonov or Michal Repik will make the opening-day roster. Tarnasky didn't travel with the team from Halifax to Ottawa and is on his way back to South Florida for further examination. Tough news for Tarnasky, who suffered a finger injury early last preseason. That setback contributed to Tampa Bay trading Tarnasky to Nashville.
