Invited to training camp, left wing Guillaume Lefebvre has signed a one year contract with the Boston Bruins.
Drafted in the seventh round by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2000, 227th overall, he was assigned to the Phantoms, their AHL club, until he was traded to the Phoenix Coyotes in 2003. He was subsequently traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins to the end of the 2005-06 season.
In 2006, Guillaume Lefebvre had decided to return to Quebec and played two seasons with the Chiefs of St John of the QMJHL, collecting 105 points and 292 penalty minutes. In 2008, he participated in training camp with the Oilers and earned a position in the AHL with the Springfield Falcons.
